In this British Science Week space-themed workshop, we get hands on engineering rockets and splash down parachutes to take us into space and back again.
We'll learn about the history of human space travel (including Laika the dog!), famous astronautical engineers, and the science and engineering behind blast offs and splash downs.
Children will be problem solving, collaborating and thinking creatively as they learn engineering concepts and skills linked to the Design & Technology National Curriculum.
The workshop will take around 60-90 minutes in total.
