In this space-themed workshop, we get hands on engineering rockets and splash down parachutes to take us into space and back again.

We'll learn about the history of human space travel (including Laika the dog!), famous astronautical engineers, and the science and engineering behind blast offs and splash downs.

The workshop will take around 60-90 minutes in total.

For just £99* you can use the workshop with as many KS1 classes as you like for one whole school term on your own schedule.

Please be aware that for this workshop you will need to source some simple materials in advance such as balloons, string, tape and napkins. We estimate the total materials costs for running this workshop with one class of 30 pupils would be £10-£20 with each additional class costing less than this.
