Hi, I'm Laura from Inventors & Makers. Our self-led virtual workshops and clubs are designed to make STEM accessible for you to do from school, nursery or home.

We do all the hard work of planning and teaching STEM for you. We even use resources and equipment you'll probably already have. So all you need to do is get yourself set up and press play on our videos.

Then Little STEAMers is perfect for you.

This workshop is linked to colours and colour mixing with fun art and science activities that are easy to set up, giving you all the teaching and planning to try out the activities in your own setting.

We'll be mixing colours in a couple of different investigations and separating colours with chromatography to find out what's hiding inside the colour black.

You'll need 45-60 minutes for the workshop but you could continue on with the activities at stations for a couple of days.

For £59* you can use the workshop with as many groups/classes as you like for a whole school term on your own schedule.

Please be aware that for this workshop you will need to source some simple materials in advance, most of which you'll already have in your setting. We estimate the total materials costs for running this workshop with one class of 30 pupils would be under £10.
