This set of 10 pre-recorded classes teaches your KS1 pupils about engineering and takes them through different areas of engineering with new and fun practical challenges every week.*
"All the activities the children absolutely loved - I’m not exaggerating. They were so engaged and actually as a class teacher it was really helpful because some of the things I just wouldn’t think of myself without having to do loads of research. One of the little boys said in the last week 'this is the best club ever!'"
This term we learn about the six simple machines including levers, pulleys and wheels and axles with simple engaging activities each week that link to a narrative element.
Everything is done for you so all you have to do is get hold of a few simple resources each week and then facilitate the activities using the guidance provided, whether that's in an after-school club or during class time. Each video tells you when to pause to do activities yourself to make it all as straight forward as possible for you and your pupils.
What you get:
The programme can work flexibly for your school. There are suggestions for extra activities if you have more time available or ways to make each week's activities fit into a shorter session. Additionally, the 10 sessions can be extended over more weeks or you could miss some weeks if you needed to.
Take a look at the Sneak Peek Preview module for more information or drop an email to laura@inventorsandmakers.com
* We recommend doing the first Little Engineers club first but pupils do not have to have done the first programme in order to do this one as we will introduce each concept from scratch.
