This STEM Workshop is perfect to teach your KS2 pupils about invention and design with hands-on design activities.

We start by learning about what inventions are and how they solve problems. We then look at how some famous and not so famous inventors solved problems with their inventions and for our practical activity we work through the design thinking process to come up with our own brand new inventions.

What you get:

• Interactive Video Workshop with easy to follow instructions to pause and do activities, meaning all the planning and teaching is done for you.

Please be aware that for this workshop you will need to source some simple materials in advance such as A3 paper and post-it notes. We estimate the total materials costs for running this workshop with one class of 30 pupils would be up to £10 with each additional class costing less than this.
